I have like totally been not wanting to eat. I think this week, I have picked at my dinner every night (and my wife is an awesome cook), haven't ate lunch, except on Monday. I don't what the hell is going on. I just don't feel like eating. As of picking at the chili mac, I made last night, I have had 2 orange sodas, and bout 4 of the small slim jims.

What Should I Do?

I had watched the two parts of the new Ten Commandments movie, these past two nights. I'm not one for the Bible movies, nothing against the Bible, I just look for too much accuracy, and complain about all the dramatization. It's almost as bad, when I watch a movie based on a comic book. It's bad, believe me. Don't get me started on Daredevil. Ben Awfuleck. Whatever! And I could have found a better Elektra, than the Alais chick. Anyway, I'm getting away from the point.

The first part of the movie, was while Moses was living in Egypt, all the way up to the parting of the Red Sea. So that was all kind of basic. Nothing new there. Especially as the one part of the Charleston Heston (sp?) version, they hadn't got to. They ended the first part with the Hebrews entering the dry seabed just as Pharoah approches.

So at the start of the second part, I was quite eager to see if this difference was in there. And it was. I felt a lot better about it.

Damn I hate being on call. Had to go work. And I don't even have a clue as to where I was going with this by now. But in the end I did like the movie, pretty well. Worse part I guess was that Yul Brenner wasn't Pharoah. Other than that the scragily haired dude that played Moses, was different than Heston, but still good. Sorry I lost my place, if I remember, you know I'll be back on.

"Uh oh, big boomers!"

I read one of Miss Jen's posts today (Adventures of a Girl in Lazy Land) that was her thoughts on the recent immigration issue. Before I even say anything about it, I have just one question to pose, for you to think about as you read this --

Who of us in this land aren't illegal immagrants?

When you think about it, there is much to ponder. This country was founded so that the opression of England would no longer be a burden to the people that left it's rule. They were no given the freedoms that they thought they deserved. They were not able to choose what god, if any they wanted to worship. They were not able to have the freedom to say what they wanted, as we are doing here and now. They would not be able to speak their mind about how their king and queen ruled their people. Most people who voiced such views where in many cases killed for treason to the crown.

So they fled. They got on boats and sailed for new land. Where they could be free to worship as they wanted, marry who they wanted, live how they wanted, with no one to tell them how to do it. They came here to North America where they found a land that would fullfil their needs. But they soon discovered that there were already people native to this land. People that lived as they did not understand. Worshiped gods that they did not know. Ate foods that they had not seen before. They left England's oppression, and came to this land. For their freedoms. But what did history show us happened? I think that we all know.

So here we are, in a land that was not ours to begin with. Was not ours. And never shall be.

So, who of us in this land are not illegal immagrants?

Can we all be truthful?

I am an illegal immagrant. And it is not my legal right to be here. We have much to answer for.
